These terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Getrid. You accept them when you open an account. How we handle your data is in the privacy notice.

The service

Getrid is an app for keeping track of everything you have to do. Its core features are free; what it offers may change over time.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
• Give a real e-mail address that you use: what your account needs is sent there.

Your content

What you write stays yours. You let us store it, process it and show it back to you only to run the service for you. We do not sell it, show it to anyone else or use it for advertising.

Fair use

Do not use Getrid to break the law or anyone's rights, to store unlawful content, to attack or overload the service, to reach other people's accounts or data, or to open accounts in bulk with a script. We may suspend or close an account that does, and tell you why unless the law forbids it.

As it is

Getrid is offered as it is. We look after it carefully and back it up every day, but it may have faults, be down for a while or, rarely, lose data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. If we ever close the service, we tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before, so you can take your data with you.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by downtime, faults or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits the rights mandatory law gives you, consumer law included.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time (the Inbox drawer, Delete account); everything in it goes at once. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or one that is never confirmed.

Changes and the law

When these terms change, the date at their top changes too. We tell you of important changes by e-mail before they take effect; if you do not agree, you can delete your account. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. Questions: [email protected].
